The Professional Opportunities Program for Students (POPS) is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) community-based organization in partnership with the Florida Department of Education, that provides paid internships, educational, and developmental skills training for youth who are 16-18 years old and attending high school.
On May 30th, they held their teen summit / graduation graduation ceremony in Downtown Orlando. Guests including Senator, Gary Siplin and Nick Anderson came out to commend these hard working students for making it through the program.

Positive thinking and perseverance through these turbulent times has led me to accomplish the seemingly impossible task of buying my first home. I did it with faith, I did it all on my own, and I made it through every obstacle that has come my way.
Just a few months ago, I didn’t think this was even possible, and now I’m here! Thank you to everyone who helped me through this!
Not only is my friend Nicole about to graduate medical school, she’s getting MARRIED too! (*swoons with envy*) . I was blessed yet again to commemorate another special event in peoples’ lives with photographs. We had an awesome time taking these!

I was contacted on Facebook by the lovely, Kim-B-Fly to do a cover shoot for her upcoming album. This is absolutely my first time taking and editing photos for a cd cover, but I’m excited to see how they turn out (I wonder which image she’ll choose).
