I guess the artist wants us to give him a call? This beautiful work of art was tucked away on Mills Avenue.

Deena took me to Pho 88 on Mills Ave this evening. I’m typically opened minded, but if I ever end up stranded in Vietnam, I’ll probably starve. The best part of my ‘dinner’ was the Lemonade.
33 of 365 : Dolo in mid flight

Dolo is the son of Tyrone (pictured on the left) and the late, Princess. He’s the only survivor out of 5 pups and he’s been a pain in my a** ever since. he was bottle fed, and was half-dead for the first month that I had him. But now, he’s a wild monkey that can never be tamed. I truly need some help training this crazy dog.
RIP Princess!!!
I barely had a weekend guys, seriously, it’s true. I spent 90% of my waking hours braiding hair, but I’m not mad. I was a hair salon this weekend (sew-ins, cornrows, micros, I did it ALL!!) It was satisfying to work on a craft that I’m good at and being appreciated for it all at the same time. I keep getting better and better and I feel truly blessed.
Sunday evening, I found the energy to go to the AKA lounge and BOY! The talent in Orlando amazes me, seriously it does! The young lady in the photo above ROCKED it OUT (I’ll get her name later)! The spoken word was good too! I got my “Love Jones” on! If I had the ballz, I’d get up there and sang for em’, but I would never put Orlando through such torture.
Speaking of talent, what are yours? Are any of them possibly profitable? Do you use your talents to the best of your abilities? If your talent were your job, would you be happy to do it?
I’ve just discovered Lightroom…still learning.

This one was inspired by Dennis Darzacq’s “Hyper Gallery” Too bad I was way to shy to attempt any of those shots!
If you’re thinking about getting into photography and haven’t joined flickr, you really should think about it. It takes a while to get used to the website, but the talentpool is amazing and they have great forums so you’ll learn a lot from them too.

Jazmine Sullivan : I need you bad
I’m not really feeling the rest of her album, but this song definitely pulled a few of my heartstrings. Jazmine Sullivan’s voice is amazing.
Maxwell : Simply Beautiful
I wish I could find the actual performance on youtube, but I’ll settle for the audio for now. He needs to come back with another album hmmm.. RIGHT NOW. He seemed to really enjoy himself on stage (and had the confidencde .

O.k. I see I’m getting further behind on this one. I really enjoyed the shots from this past few days too. With the Nikon that’s on the way, they’ll only get better.

24.1 of 365 : Happy 4th of July!
24.2 of 365 : Pop POP!!! The fireworks were so loud!
Happy 4th to everyone! I hope you ate, drank, and celebrated to the FULLEST!!! I spent the day at Momma J’s house. I played as her photographer (and I learned it’s not as easy as it looks).
I ate WELL, I drank WELL, and had a great time with friends and family and that’s all it’s about to me.
In the evening, I went downtown to watch the fireworks at Lake Eola. It was like “Bombs over Baghdad” out there! We took as many photos as we could and I am really happy with the way they turned out.
