I know I'm not open enough to take an impressionable child to a Gay Pride Parade. But I've had enough experiences in life not to be too afraid of people who have different lifestyles than I do. I must say.... I wouldn't have! I have nothing against gay people or in ANY WAY support violence or discrimination against gay people. For the longest time I have always had the "Doesn't affect me in any way, I don't care" attitude, no need to discriminate and stuff like that. Then I started to realize how things we see as children affect our lives, while I have nothing at all against GLBT, I don't want anyone telling my child "it is cool to be gay/It's the new trend" - that WONT fly... for that reason you wouldn't catch me at a gay parade or voting for gay marriage, just a personal preference : ) All the same.... did look very colorful and exciting though... dude looked like he was having too much fun lol -The Kid turned Mas- Looks VERY colorful.
