Each year, the Zora Neale Hurston Festival is held in Eatonville. She was a noted author during the time of the Harlem Renaissance and one of her most popular works is Their Eyes Were Watching God.
This years festivities included local painters, sculptors, and craftsmen as well as an outdoor performance by Morris Day.

This man put on a GOOD show! I don’t know what you’d call his style of dancing, but it was definitely entertaining!
