Months ago, Ta’nia and I decided to save up the $$ we’ve made with photography and take a trip to Chicago & see Oprah Winfrey’s “The Color Purple“. After many late nights at night clubs, birthday parties, and other events, we finally made it!
Chicago is a BEAUTIFUL city, and nice change of pace from Orlando. Even though Fantasia disappointed us and wasn’t able to perform, we had a great time exploring the windy city.

Orlando’s known for freaky weather, but I’ve never seen a storm like this before. If you didn’t see last night’s light show, you missed out. Thing about it, with all the commotion going on, there wasn’t a drop of rain where I was and absolutely no sound.

To be in the presence of true love is a blessing. I was lucky enough to be one of the few to attend Dan and Kayla’s wedding. It was a magical day.
Congratulations to you two! And may you have many many years of happiness.

Pride, Excellence, Determination, Struggle, Joy, Fear, Triumph. All these words sum up the emotion of reaching the goal of graduation.
I’m proud of Lexi not only because she’s gotten her Bachelor’s, but because she’s worked so hard to do it all on her own despite all of the obstacles that came her way.
Congrats Lexi!

The photos I took of Henry were some of my most popular thus far. At that time, he was an undiscovered piece of art and a pleasure to work with, so good in fact that I thought he had already been modeling for years.
Well, he took our photos and ran with it! He’s traveled back and forth from Cali to Texas and he recently got hired to model for a book cover.
I’m proud of the fact that lil’ ol’ me could inspire someone to take on a modeling career. I’m even more happy for Henry and the new life that he’s started. Congrats man!

Ortancis from the Natural Hair Group of Orlando invited me to their “Show n’ Tell” today. These lovely, natural ladies met up at the Seven Sisters Coffeehouse in Winter Park. They used this meeting to exchange tips on their favorite hair care products, methods, and hairstyles.
I got to meet some truly knowledgeable women who were dedicated to maintaining natural, healthy hair. I learned a lot myself!
