Just got paid, bored, and I’m shopping online. Someone please stop me!

I’m feeling this little turtleneck dress from Alloy.com. At $39.50, I think it’s worth it. Oh, and you NEED the belt too ($16.50)

This shirt from Victoria’s Secret is different. I’m digging the sleeves on this one ($48.00)

Here’s another selection from Victoria’s secret. A little pricey at $88.00 (and I’m not 100% on the front pockets), but I think it’s secccssy.

These would be great for skinny jeans. Victoria’s secret is also giving 20% off BOOTS right now (coupon code 20BOOTS)…. Oh sweet baby Jesus!

I tried these on during my trip to Miami last month and was in love. VS is giving em at 20% off right now! (Regular $149)

I’ve heard before, that if you write it down, you can make things happen. I’ve said it before…but let me say it again…..

I will own a home within 3 years

But what’s a goal without a plan achieve it? My first step will be to make an appointment with my financial adviser to see if this is really possible for me. I’ve been good at keeping my credit score up, have been very cautious in my big purchases, and I feel I’m responsible enough to take on a home now (Just need to work on the savings!).

I promise not to fall into one of those “creative” mortgages, or buy something way beyond my means. I won’t buy a condo either…a single-family home is what I want.

I’ll keep you posted along the way. Is anyone else out there trying to get into a home? Are the stories in the news about the housing market scaring you away a bit? Has anyone out there recently purchased a home? Do you have any suggestions?

What to Wear?

I’m trying to figure out what I’m going to wear for my birthday. Not that I have anything planned for it, but I at least need to be ready for whatever comes my way!

This reminded me a little of something Rhianna would wear. Probably rock it out with those signature heavy bangs she likes. Do the yellow shoes match? NO, but they’re an added pop of color, and I like yellow so THERE!

I saw Garcelle wearing this on Concreteloop.com and fell in LOVE. Too bad the dress is over $400.00 bucks! A girl can dream though can’t she?

I need help! What do I wear on my birthday!?!?!?
